Team building activities are a great way to facilitate bonding, reduce employee stress, and give everyone the chance to get to know each other. Since we’ve all been forced to work remotely, team building has become even more critical. It’s important to find ways to keep your team motivated and feeling connected. Team leadership and team building go hand in hand.

At FitSnapr we believe that a shared experience over physical activity is a great way to build team morale. Physical activity is not only good for your physical health but your mental health as well. Studies have shown that physical activity is a natural mood booster. Also, too much sitting and other sedentary activities can increase your risk of heart disease and stroke.

Here are some other benefits of physical activity:

Boosts your energy levels
Improves self-image and self-confidence
Exercise promotes better sleep
Reduce Your Risk of Chronic Disease
Leads to younger, healthier skin

So where do you start?

It starts with getting your team onboard. Create a poll or ask at your next meeting about the types of activities that your team is interested in.

How to keep going once you start?

The American Heart Association recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity each week. You can knock that out in just 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. We can setup recurring 30-minute daily sessions, where your team can try a physical activity. You can keep the same one or try a different one each day.
